I guess there are different 'causes'. I tried a restrictive diet and it didn't work, I just lost too much weight!
I cured myself eventually, now I am completely clear and can eat what I like, although I eat healthily anyway.
My solution, although it seems very different was through mind/body techniques and therapies. So the acne was psychosomatic, or 'emotional' I suppose. I used NLP, hypnotherapy, and now Qi Gong, all of which are potentially free and can be done yourself, with a bit of advice or help.
But I did it, and that's what matters.
