I have had acne for 12 years......very acne prone skin...daily breakouts....I have used accutane, proactiv, coresa...basically almost everything on the internet as well as trying different diets...I have used different levels of benzoyl peroxide salycylic acid...etc etc......U name it, I have tried it.....nothing ever controlled my acne very well ever. maybe for a few days then boom a big breakout. I have tried and tested so many acne products trying to find something that would control my breakouts. money was not even an issue....i spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars trying anything I could find.....hours of reading...trying vitamins acne miracle diet, my list goes on and on......but finally after testing so many products, I have been able to narrow down to 4 products that give me fast healing and very good control and pretty low irritation....they were all products i have tried or similar to other products i tried but by using them together the right way....they are not 100% perfect...but giving U that daily control that makes U feel comfortable in doing the things u want to do, isnt that all we want??
1. Retin A .1%
2. Panoxyl 5% benzoyl peroxide bar
3. Acne spot dry order on the net for about 28$ U.S. lasts about 2 months.
4. Neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer
Night routine....
gently wash face and neck with panoxyl wash....let dry for a few minutes......then apply thin layer of retin a over entire face, i even use a small amount on my neck.......then apply with a Q tip acne spot dry on blemishes u have or put in places where U constantly breakout and u wont anymore...
morning routine.....
gently wash again with panoxyl wash...dry face....wait a couple mins and cover face with the moisturizer.....keep moisturizer with you during the day in case U need to reapply...
i know this might sound way to simple and easy but it really works. i even experimented using a topical in the daytime but irritation is to great no matter what topical i tried......and found i really didn't need one....which really surprised me. all i can say is please try it before u decide it wont work.....i would not have thought it would work for me either......
